Nature, in its broadest sense, reflects the infinite process of transmutation that unfolds throughout the universe. Many human mythologies have acknowledged this perpetual cycle of transformation, in which everything is something in the process of becoming something else. Organic life on Earth adheres to this same universal dynamic—a process of transmutation that is, simultaneously, a bond with the cosmos.
The visual piece developed for the first rite of Huerto offers an interpretation of this reality. In it, an ecosystem of trees and vegetation is transformed into energy through a cyclical process—like a repetitive mantra—that immerses the viewer in an increasingly profound experiential state, where energy, matter, life, and consciousness resonate with the great loop of creation.
Orbital movement of planets around the Sun, determined by their proximity. A mathematical simulation begins with an infinite rotation speed, corresponding to a position at the very center of the Sun. As we move away from this center—stepping outside the stellar body and distancing ourselves by millions of kilometers—the rotation speed gradually slows down, producing increasingly extended cycles, until reaching the vast orbits of the outer planets in the solar system, where planetary years dilate to such an extent that time itself seems to stop.
